WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR IN YOU

  • To be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate personal ownership of tasks, leadership, and coaching skills.
  • Warm and authentic personality, along with a hands-on approach to work and impeccable attention to detail.
  • Passion for true hospitality and a good knowledge of food and beverage.
  • Previous experience as a Restaurant and Bar General Manager in luxury hotels or standalone restaurants.
  • Proven track record of achieving outstanding levels of personal and departmental targets in order to meet and exceed expectations.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING

As Restaurant and Bar General Manager, you will be a true leader, enthusiastic and pro-active, able to inject your personality into your work and inspiring the team to deliver a warm and authentic memorable guest experience. You will continually commit to the highest standards of service and operations, and working closely with the management team, you will be responsible for the overall performance of the front-of-house team, guest satisfaction, managing financials, stock management, team development, and building a strong rapport with all the teams in the hotel.

THE DUTIES

  • To guide your conduct always based on the values and vision of our company.
  • You will be responsible for achieving revenue, profit, people, and guest satisfaction goals.
  • You will be responsible for directing the Restaurant and Bar team to ensure both our guests and Team Members’ satisfaction is achieved in a motivated and cohesive environment.
  • Ensure guest expectations are met and seek opportunities to improve the guest experience by seeking feedback and evaluating service levels.
  • Implementing and developing strategies to improve where necessary alongside the management team.
  • Be responsible for ensuring training, recruitment, coaching, and developing the team is at the forefront of the role, with clear training plans and objectives.
  • Full engagement and involvement in back-office operations including rota planning, ordering etc.
  • Local-level marketing to promote the brand and the restaurant and to increase top-line sales.
  • All aspects of health & safety.

RIGHT TO WORK

In line with the requirements of UK immigration legislation, all applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK. Documentary evidence of eligibility to work will be required from candidates as part of the recruitment process.

Base Pay: £38,000 plus £9,000 Tronc
